Leased Line

A leased line is a dedicated telecommunications line that connects two locations together. Unlike traditional phone lines, which are shared among multiple users, a leased line is reserved exclusively for the subscriber's private use. Leased lines are typically used by businesses to establish reliable and secure connections between their offices, data centers, or other locations. They offer high-speed, symmetrical data transmission, meaning that the upload and download speeds are the same, making them suitable for applications such as video conferencing, large file transfers, and accessing centralized databases.

Point to Point

A point-to-point leased line is a dedicated telecommunications connection that connects two specific points or locations directly. Here are some key points about point-to-point leased lines:

  1. Dedicated Connection: It provides a dedicated, private line between two locations, ensuring exclusive access to the bandwidth.

  2. Direct Link: The connection is established directly between the two endpoints without passing through any intermediate network nodes.

  3. High Reliability: Point-to-point leased lines offer high reliability and uptime because they are not shared with other users and are often backed by service level agreements (SLAs) guaranteeing uptime and performance.

  4. Symmetrical Bandwidth: Similar to traditional leased lines, point-to-point leased lines typically offer symmetrical bandwidth, meaning the upload and download speeds are the same.

  5. Secure Communication: Because the connection is dedicated and private, it offers enhanced security for transmitting sensitive data between the two points.

  6. Used for Data Transfer: Point-to-point leased lines are commonly used by businesses for applications requiring high-speed, reliable data transfer between two specific locations, such as connecting headquarters to branch offices, data centers, or cloud services.

Dedicated Leased Line

Dedicated Leased Line, a point-to-point private connection through standard ADSL lines. Used to connect offices to the Internet, and to link offices to locations. Dedicated Leased Line caters bandwidth exclusively to your business. Giving you security, speed, stability and assurance. The upload and download speed are symmetrical which different from normal shared ISP lines which are asymmetrical.

Dedicated Leased Line meets the requirements of most of today’s businesses of constant reliability and stability in transferring large data. Plus, the added SLA of Dedicated Leased Line increases assurance and security towards network connections.
